On Saturday, March 25, the last training session of our national team took place in Kilkenny at Freebooters astro pitch, it was last before the flight to the capital of Moldova.
Before the start, our former coach and player Damien Raggett appeared on the training ground and wished everyone good luck in the upcoming tournament.
Fortunately, all the players showed up at full strength and ready to compete at the Socca Euro Cup, the training session was very intense, but the atmosphere in the team is very friendly and optimistic.
The players had the opportunity to wear R-GOL home and away match kits for the first time, which will hopefully help us advance to this year's Socca World Cup in Essen, Germany.
We are all very excited to fly to Moldova and looking forward to competing against group rivals Georgia and Cyprus.
